If we observe the surrounding we will find that nothing has been changed. The
question of beauty is haunting several writers, poets & artists for thousands of years and
yet no one has found the answer for this question. On the contrary of the above
mentioned advertisement, many advertisements claim that people gain confidence only
after having fair complexion of skin. These advertisements can be seen being succeeded
nowadays & that’s because of the complex in our mind which further becomes a
prominent reason for racism and depressions.
Beauty is never defined by skin tone, weight, height or hair type. Beauty is
reflection of our thoughts. We never call a baby ugly because the smile on its face is as
pure as elixir and so is its mind. Definition of beauty can never be restricted in a few
words. Beauty lies in a smile on someone’s face who is broken from inside. Beauty lies in
a teardrop which makes path for someone’s sorrow. Beauty lies in that precious smile of
our parents at the end of the day even after having a hard day. Beauty can be seen in
eyes of the animals who cannot even express their feelings with words. Beauty lies in
somebody’s struggle. Beauty lies in success. Even failure has its own beauty of learning
because failures teach people all the time. Every person has a story and his or her beauty
is hidden in that story.
I have read somewhere that smile is the best filter one can apply to a photograph
and in this world of competition and professionalism we forget to apply this best filter.
So let us stop judging the books from their covers and humiliating ourselves because of
such complexions. The moment we change our attitude of looking at other people or
things in nature, the world will become beautiful by itself. Thus, Feel beautiful, be
beautiful & Make it beautiful!
