The Annual Cultural Fest!
And finally, after a gap of 4 years the college was again spell bound in the aura of music, dance, the melodious voices, and the colorful dresses as it was time for the cultural fest “Antarang 2023”. On 24th March 2023, the students annual cultural and sports festival Antarang 2023 started at Government Engineering College, Aurangabad with the chief guest Mr. Sameer Patil (renowned actor/director) and guest of honor Mr. Umesh Nagdeve (Joint Director Technical Education Dept.) And after a warm welcome by the principal of the college Dr. Anjali Bhalchandra the chief guests and guests of honor expressed their warm regards and gave their valuable advice regarding studies and skill development.
Day 1 sought the presentation of “Shobhayatra”, “Mr. & Mrs. GECA'' and a melodious “music competition” wherein the whole college was seen in different traditional attires of respectful states allotted to the various departments and later the rivalry to claim the crown of Mr. and Mrs. GECA. Day 1 was complete with the echo of musical notes from the musical competition. Day 2 started with a boosting “Open Mic & Mono Act'' competition wherein comedians, artists entertained the audiences with their performances and the Poets mesmerized the college atmosphere through their out of the world thoughts and mind blending art of literature. After which the audience were astonished by the singing skills of their teachers during the “Gecakshari'' competition, in which nearly all the college faculty members participated. In the late afternoon dance competition took place and the students competed through their dance moves and expressions in groups as well as in solo format. And the evening was all under the influence of the classical artforms.
Day 3 was the last day of Antarang 2023 which saw some of the best performances of musical skits, followed by a lavish lunch, a gesture of love from college for all the hardships that students took for making the cultural fest a memorable one. Antarang 2023 got to its end with a prize distribution ceremony where all the worthy winners won the awards for being distinct from others.
College authorities and all the students lead the program in such a disciplinary manner that it stood as an example for best cooperation and maximum participation.
