Autrum

Our college road safety team, Autrum from Civil Engineering Department, participated in the
national level competition on road safety – iSAFE17, Road to Safer India, organised by Ministry of
Road Transport and Highway, IIT Delhi and Indian Road Safety Campaign and has achieved second
rank throughout the nation in its first phase. Domain of the team was Trend Setters, under which the
team has conducted various activities and campaigns. The motto of the domain is to create public
awareness among the society, find out the problems on road, analyse them and to practically
implement the solutions of that problems. We surveyed the road and analysed various problems and
provided the solutions that should be implemented to minimise the road safety problems. All the
activities conducted were submitted through iSAFE17 portal which were judged by Indian Road Safety
Campaign and top 5 teams throughout country were invited to IIT Delhi on 16th December 2017.
Presentation of all the activities was made in front of the judges and our team ranked second amongst
the invited top 5 teams.
